I provide refinishing services, including pickup and delivery in the Seattle-Tacoma area, for tables, chairs, and any other wooden furniture. Unlike most refinishing services, I remove old finish with hand tools and sandpaper rather than chemical strippers which create harmful waste products, and I am willing to work on items with thin veneers.

I can also complete repairs, reglueing, and alterations such as increasing the height of a table by seamlessly adding risers to the legs. My refinishing rates are determined by the size and complexity of a piece, but I typically charge around $600 for a dining table and $100-$200 per chair, with pricing on the lower end for larger sets. Refinishing includes removing scratches, watermarks, and other superficial damage, and can include removing deeper scratches (except when deeper than veneer if applicable), chips, and dents, although in heirloom pieces many clients prefer for these larger signs of age to be blended with surrounding surfaces but not entirely removed.
